role of spraying with urea- phosphate and cytokinin on some morphological properties of two cultivars of maize (Zea mays L.)

Field experiment was conducted in Karbala province during the spring season of 2018-2019. The arranged as split plot within RCBD with three replications. Urea- phosphate (UP) applied at 0, 1 and 2ml L-1 cytokines 0.5 ml L-1sprayed on two cultivars corn namely: Baghdad fager. Results revealed that cultivar superior giving highest values all studied traits lie, plant light, leaves no, leaf area, stem diameter fresh weight. corresponding valves were 171.9 cm ,13.6 leaves, 370.2cm2, 21.93 mm 3.49 kg respectively. Whereas fager gave 159.1 ,12.13 ,286.2 cm2 ,18.15 3.27 Cytokines height, wt. 181.3 ,21.98 3.80 respectively whereas Urea – Phosphate 2 mlL-1 value nunber .and area 13.50 378.9 cm2.
